Outings are arranged for members usually every month. They are organised at cost price, with transport, tickets and gratuities included.
Also,a short four or five day holiday is included in the itinerary every year and previous destinations have included Northern Ireland, Tuscany and Madrid. Ideas for future outings are welcomed from members. Please email the Outings Co-ordinator (Paul Booker) for information on holidays or future outings.

Friday 18th March – Royal Hospital Chelsea and the Inns of Court – FULL
A fascinating tour of the Chelsea Hospital and the Inns of Court. The tour of the RHC is led by an old soldier and resident of the hospital, with one of the expert Blue Guides walking us through the Inns of Court. This outing is now full but we are happy to place names on a reserve list in case places become available. Enquiries
We are now taking bookings for this guided visit to the Officer Training School, recently featured on television. Tickets are selling very quickly so please do not delay in making a booking. Book here
Petworth is famous for its extensive art collection containing many works by Turner.
A 17th-century Grade I listed mansion has a deer park designed by Capability Brown which contains the largest herd of fallow deer in England.

Friday 24th June – An introduction and tour to the house and gardens of Mottisfont.
Friday 29th July – A conducted tour of the Headquarters of English Rugby, Twickenham, with a tour of the stadium, dressing rooms and museum.
Friday 19th August – A tour of Stourhead house and gardens.
Friday 21st October – A conducted tour of the new premises of HR Wallingford Ltd. We begin our visit at 10.00 am and afterwards can make use of the excellent on-site self service restaurant. HR Wallingford is directly involved in flood risk management, bridge, boat and harbour testing, Tsunami simulation and improving river flow. This is an excellent opportunity to see how a local company is at the forefront of environmental and technical development. There is no charge for this outing.
